SQUARE SERIES: OH DEER.

So the Fishback Mural is done-d! Check back for photos of the finished product, they'll be up soon! All that painting on the mural day after day had some sort of contagious effect and now I can't stop. Since I finished the mural last week, I've been working on 3 paintings! PRETTY IN PINK! NURSERY INSPIRATION

My precious neice, Avery is the first grandbaby for our family. My two sisters (seen here) and I had a ball putting her room together. Here's a little glimpse of what we came up with.
My incredibly talented sister, Mindy, took the two photos on the left.

Avery is somehow 6 months old already! As she grows and changes, so should her room, I think. See the sliver of tree mural in the bottom right corner? Soon, we’ll revamp it to a flourishing cherry blossom tree. Keep an eye out for before and after pictures of Avery’s tree mural.

SQUARE SERIES: A FRESH PICK AT SPROUT

One of my top girls, Kari, manages and buys for Sprout Children 's Boutique in Sioux Falls. It's an upmarket children's clothing store that outfits newborns to preteens. The whole shop is kissed with Kari's immpecible taste. It's adorable; I feel like a cuter person just walking in the door. You can find this painting hanging on Sprout's walls, fitting in just right to the store's young and fresh vibe. It's available for purchase, so swing in to Sprout and snatch it up.

SQUARE SERIES: MIDWESTERN ANIMALS

I'm not usually one for Mid-western pride, but in painting a buffalo and a buck, I suppose it would be unfair for me to deny any sort of allegiance to this part of the county. If you ask me, a certain charm is in the clean air and open skyline of the Midwest.

I switch the art on my walls quite often, but this painting has made its home above my night stand for some time. I'd love to see it in either a very modern or a very vintage inspired space, but ideally, I'd use the collection of blues, grays and yellows to design a killer little boys room.

This color palette was inspired by a pair of athletic shorts I saw this really good-looking guy wearing.  The sporty vibe translates, I think. Unlike the buck, I can't decide the best possible place for this piece. Where could this painting fit in? Any ideas?
